Plan Away the Disarray

Plan Away the Disarray

And off I fell this week.

The struggle is real.

Life happens and no matter how much we try there will still be days, or even weeks, where you simply fall off.

That's me right now. Seems like I just cannot get it together. I haven't done any of things. Didn't even write my weekly post. Let's not even speak of the laundry pile up.

But Donnie Mcclurkin told us; we fall down, and we get up.

This is why I believe so much in the power of planning. That's the tool we can all use to get back up.

Your system, your planner, is a tool that only works when you use it; but it is also a guiding light to help you get out of the chaos when you fall behind.

The laundry may be piled up, but I have a plan to get through it without becoming overwhelmed. The Fly Lady Method is my tool to handle that. I am behind at work, I know how to tighten up my schedule to be more productive next week.

Its okay if you cannot stick with the plan every single day or if you fall behind where you want to be, as long as you know how to get back to level of productivity that you want. Use your planning system to maintain the daily work and home life, but also to regain control of your time when you wonder away for a bit.

It wont be perfect. And it might look different every day, but without a plan, we stay in disarray.

Life happens and there is no way around that, but when you plan accordingly, its easy to find your way back.
